Careers at RealIties.io
Who are we? Realities.io makes digital slow food: nourishing and well crafted experiences that leave you feeling refreshed instead of icky, stressed or guilty. Since starting in 2016 we’ve created and collaborated on award winning VR experiences, captured ambitious photogrammetry scans, built powerful tools & pipelines and published a 3D jigsaw puzzle VR game called Puzzling Places. We are happiest when we are learning and growing as individuals and as a team while making things we enjoy.
Currently we are a team of 9, with most but not all of us based in Berlin, working hybrid out of our office there. We love what we do but also make sure to keep a healthy work life balance.
Short Form Content Creator
(part time, On-site or Remote)
TL;DR: We’re looking for a creative and motivated content creator to help us make short-form video content for our cozy puzzle game Puzzling Places! Whether you're a working student interested in breaking into games, a junior creator with good short video instincts, or a freelance short-form pro looking to join a relaxed, passionate team — read on!
What will you be working on? Your main responsibility will be creating short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) that helps Puzzling Places reach more players and grow our Steam wishlist count. You’ll work closely with our Marketing & Community Manager, but have space to experiment, test, and develop your own ideas.
Specifically, you’ll:
Create 3–5 short videos per week showcasing gameplay, puzzle reveals, comparisons, and satisfying moments
Develop new content formats — from ASMR-style puzzle clicks to “real-world → game” photogrammetry reveals
Edit footage using TikTok-native tools or CapCut/Premiere
Repurpose videos across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
Help track performance and iterate based on what’s working and update our content strategy
Occasionally support additional marketing work when needed (writing captions, prepping assets, posting, helping with newsletters or influencer outreach)
Who are we looking for? You don’t need formal experience in games or video production — but you do need to be comfortable making and publishing short videos. Whether you’re a student posting edits for fun or a junior freelancer building your reel, we’re more interested in your creative instinct and initiative than your résumé.
You should be:
Curious, driven, self-motivated, and eager to experiment and learn
Familiar with short form video ( TikTok, Reels YT Shorts) from a creator perspective)
Excited about games (especially cozy, relaxing, or creative ones)
Comfortable editing in mobile or desktop tools (CapCut, TikTok editor, Premiere, etc.)
Bonus points if you:
Have worked on game or art content before
Have a portfolio or personal TikTok/IG account with short-form videos
Have basic knowledge of Unreal / Blender and similar game dev tools
Experience with FB / Insta Ads
Are interested in light marketing tasks (captioning, scheduling, social copy, etc.)
Like photography, travel, architecture, or world cultures (it helps with puzzle themes!)
How does the contract look? We’re flexible on the exact set up & hours, here are some options:
Working student (Werkstudent*in on site in Berlin, 10–20 hrs/week)
Junior part-time hire, also covering additional marketing tasks (2-3 days part time on site in Berlin)
Freelance trial gig, with potential for regular retainer work (10-20hrs/week, on site preferred, remote possible, based in EU timezone +/- 2h)
How to apply? Your application will be read by us, your future colleagues, not an AI, so please skip the buzzword bingo. Instead, tell us why you're interested in this role and how your past experience fits—then round it off with a short CV.
We value diversity in our team and explicitly encourage people from all backgrounds to apply!
